What did earning the Kristen Julia Drenten Memorial Scholarship mean to you?
"Kristen was one of my dearest childhood friends. I was so honored to receive the scholarship at the time, but in my college years it meant the most to me. I thought about her often, and I pray that my life and education has honored her life in return. She touched so many people with her kindness, love for life and her smile. This had the biggest impact on me. With every patient I see, I am thankful for my education and the opportunities I have had, which were possible because of the scholarships I received."
